Remote work, working from home, or the term that has become popular in the Czech Republic over the last year (much to the confusion of the local British population) “home office”. Whatever you call it, right now, you can’t avoid it – The Covid-19 pandemic has fundamentally shifted where we do work and it’s very possible that these changes are going to make future offices look very different for a long time to come.
Thanks to the current health crisis, decentralization from traditional offices has brought with it some huge security challenges. Managing employee devices while those devices are no longer in-situ and securing empty office buildings, just to name a few. Meanwhile, employees at home also face new personal challenges such as managing their mental health as lockdowns and home schooling continue to ebb and flow.
